Volleyball Recap: Kaiser Takes a Loss

Kaiser lost against Summit two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cats came up short against the SkyHawks, falling 3-0. The Cats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaiser was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-18, 25-15.

Summit was led to victory by Rayleen Togagae and Aubrey Hagood. Togagae had 19 assists and two aces, while Hagood had four digs. That's the most assists Togagae has posted over her last eight matches.

Kaiser's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Summit, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.

Kaiser has already played their next contest (against Eisenhower), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against San Gorgonio on the 23rd.
