Basketball Recap: Central Blue Eagles vs. Northeast Vikings

Make it eight blowout wins for the Central Blue Eagles this season. They breezed by Northeast at home to the tune of 87-21 on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Central as they're now sitting on three straight.

Zahir Ragsdale was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with five steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Wooden, who scored 18 points along with two steals.

Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Northeast, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Southeast the next time they take the court. Central will host the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
