Taylor is 7-1 against Atlantic since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Taylor Wildcats will host the Atlantic Sharks at 6:00 p.m. Taylor has given up an average of 9.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Taylor was handed a 13-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Umatilla, sneaking past 13-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their one-run performance the match before.

Lacey Price was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Taylor Lane was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Atlantic's offense. They lost 15-0 to Deltona last Thursday. The Sharks have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meetings.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2-1. As for Taylor, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
