Baldwin Park waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Azusa Aztecs by a score of 9-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 back in March.

Thomas Beltran made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Beltran wasn't the only one making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gadiel Castellanos, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Matthew Chavez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Baldwin Park pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Azusa, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9.

Baldwin Park wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-1 victory against Duarte on the 29th. As for Azusa, they have also already played their next game, an 8-5 win against The Webb Schools on the 24th.
