Soccer Game Preview: Pickens vs. North Hall

The Pickens Dragons will face off against the North Hall Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Pickens lost 8-5 to Lumpkin County on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Pickens in their meetings with Lumpkin County: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Hall). They blew past Chestatee 7-1 on Tuesday. North Hall haven't had any issues with Chestatee recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

North Hall's offense was hitting Chestatee from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Brookelyn Green led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Pickens now has a losing record of 4-5. As for North Hall, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
