Soccer Game Preview: Tattnall County vs. Long County

The Tattnall County Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Long County Blue Tide at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Tattnall County can't be to happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Tuesday. They lost 8-3 to Claxton. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-2.

Meanwhile, Long County took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Bryan County with a sharp 9-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Blue Tide in their matchups with the Redskins: they've now won nine in a row.

Tattnall County suffered a grim 6-0 defeat to Long County in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Tattnall County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
