Baseball Recap: Wautoma Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Wautoma was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wisconsin Dells Chiefs, falling 11-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 9-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Wautoma saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mason Dobrecevich, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Wautoma now has a losing record of 4-5-1. As for Wisconsin Dells, their win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

While Wautoma had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
