Borden County's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Westbrook Wildcats, sneaking past 10-8. The Coyotes haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Borden County's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Westbrook, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Borden County will venture away from home to take on Hermleigh at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hermleigh will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Borden County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Westbrook, they will welcome Aspermont at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th. Westbrook is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.
