Volleyball Recap: Chillicothe Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home + How To Watch

Chillicothe suffered their biggest loss since September 6th on Monday. They came up short against the Sheridan Generals, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Cavaliers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in September.

Chillicothe was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Sheridan work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-15, 30-28.

Evelyn Hamman paced Chillicothe's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hamman got some help from Isabella Witte and her 34 assists. Finally, Taylor Hardiesty kept Chillicothe's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Grace Stoltz had a dynamite game For Sheridan., getting 24 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Stoltz has posted over her last seven contests. Isabella King also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Chillicothe's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-9. As for Sheridan, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-10 record this season.

Chillicothe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sheridan, they will take on Marietta in a tournament on Thursday.
