Baseball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Wylie on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 back in March.

Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Wylie, they pushed their record up to 14-4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

While Memorial had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
