Glenbard West had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Plainfield North on Monday. The Hilltoppers never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Glenbard West might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by three goals or more this season.

Glenbard West's win bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Plainfield North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenbard West will host Lyons at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lyons' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Plainfield North, they will welcome Sandburg at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Sandburg will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Plainfield North surely won't give up without a fight.
