Baseball Game Preview: Stratford Red Devils vs. Immaculate Mustangs

The Stratford Red Devils will square off against the Immaculate Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Immaculate took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stratford, who comes in off a win.

Stratford's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Harding with a sharp 14-0 win. The Red Devils have beaten the Presidents the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Presidents has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Immaculate's offense. They came up short against New Milford on Monday, falling 7-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered against the Green Wave since May 8, 2019.

Stratford's victory bumped their record up to 7-12. As for Immaculate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.
