Basketball Recap: Vernon Victorious

Vernon saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Clarendon Broncos, sneaking past 36-33. The 36-point effort marked the Lions' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The victory made it two in a row for Vernon and bumps their season record up to 7-2. As for Clarendon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Vernon will head out on the road to face off against Holliday at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clarendon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Canadian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
