Addi Benton was dialed in as she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. She was dominant the last time she took on Greater Cabarrus S back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her sixth in a row with more than seven strikeouts. For the season, Benton has an ERA of 3.37 over 27 innings pitched.

Benton's effort led Queen's Grant over Greater Cabarrus S and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
