Basketball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Austin lost against James Clemens back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Austin Black Bears fell 53-42 to the James Clemens Jets. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin's record now sits at 3-8. As for James Clemens, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Austin will be playing in front of their home fans against Madison Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Madison Academy will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Austin surely won't give up without a fight. As for James Clemens, they will venture away from home to challenge Hewitt-Trussville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Hewitt-Trussville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
