Basketball Recap: Ector Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Ector duked it out with Fannindel on Tuesday. The Eagles fell 39-31 to the Falcons. The Eagles have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Ector's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-13. As for Fannindel, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Ector will welcome Dodd City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Fannindel, they will challenge Campbell at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
