Softball Recap: Schaumburg Saxons vs. Prospect Knights
Schaumburg lost against Prospect back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Schaumburg Saxons fell 9-6 to the Prospect Knights.
Taylor Dolecki made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Jordan Murtaugh was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Schaumburg's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Prospect, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-8.
Schaumburg will challenge St. Charles North at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Prospect, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Fremd at 4:45 p.m. Fremd will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Prospect surely won't give up without a fight.
