Baseball Recap: Fayetteville Starts Season with Win at Home

Fayetteville took care of business in their home opener on Monday. They never let the Culleoka Warriors get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

Not much got past Parker Frame, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Culleoka off the board.

At the plate, Fayetteville's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Austin Quick, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for Culleoka and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Fayetteville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 victory against Community on the 7th. As for Culleoka, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 loss against Fairview on the 6th.
