Soccer Recap: Moon Valley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Shadow Mountain last Monday, Moon Valley came back down to earth. The Moon Valley Rockets took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thunderbird Titans on Thursday. The Rockets haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Kelsey Alejo wasn't going to let Thunderbird walk away unscathed as she scored both of Moon Valley's goals, bringing her season total up to ten goals.

Moon Valley now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Thunderbird, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.

Moon Valley has already played their next match, an 11-0 loss against Paradise Honors on the 3rd. As for Thunderbird, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Goldwater on the 3rd.
