Basketball Preview: Loganville Red Devils vs. Social Circle Redskins
The Loganville Red Devils are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on the Social Circle Redskins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Loganville knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Social Circle likes a good challenge.

Loganville will need to focus on slowing down Leson Nelson, one of several Social Circle players who made an impact when they last played. He shot 46% from the field to rack up 17 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Nelson continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Damien Phelps was another key player, going 8-for-12 en route to 17 points and five boards.
Social Circle's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Loganville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Loganville was able to grind out a solid win over Social Circle in their previous meeting back in November of 2019, winning 53-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
