Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Apollo). Everything went their way against the Meade County Green Waves on Saturday as they made off with an 11-5 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Eagles needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Apollo's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Meade County, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.

Apollo has already played their next game (against Christian County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Meade County, they will challenge Central Hardin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
