Fall Creek is 10-0 against Thorp since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Fall Creek Crickets will head out on the road to challenge the Thorp Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. Fall Creek will be strutting in after a win while Thorp will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, Fall Creek was fully in charge, breezing past Cadott 73-29. With the Crickets ahead 40-18 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Thorp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 59-27 loss at the hands of McDonell Central. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Macks are ranked 120th).

Fall Creek's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-4. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35 points. As for Thorp, their loss dropped their record down to 0-11.

Everything came up roses for Fall Creek against Thorp in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 78-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fall Creek since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
