Baseball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton lost against Valley Mills back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hamilton came up short against Valley Mills, falling 10-1. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Bauman, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Isaac Wood also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Hamilton now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Valley Mills, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Hamilton will square off against Moody at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Eagles coming up. Valley Mills' pitchers better be ready for this one: Bruceville-Eddy has averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
