Softball Recap: Fall Creek Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fall Creek can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Prescott Cardinals on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on May 9th.

Fall Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Prescott, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-8.

Fall Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prescott, they will face off against Stanley-Boyd at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Orioles have averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season.
