Basketball Recap: Aiden Zajicek Key Part of a Team Effort in Wolverines Win

There's no place like home for Wilber-Clatonia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Raymond Central Mustangs 58-36 on Thursday. The Wolverines have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Wilber-Clatonia's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aiden Zajicek, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 boards. The dominant performance gave Zajicek a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Keslar, who made all 6 shots he took to post 16 points.

Wilber-Clatonia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Raymond Central, their loss was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Wilber-Clatonia will venture away from home to take on Superior at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Raymond Central, they are taking a road trip to face off against Syracuse at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Syracuse will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Raymond Central surely won't give up without a fight.
