Basketball Game Preview: Swain County Maroon Devils vs. Andrews Wildcats

The Swain County Maroon Devils will face off against the Andrews Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Swain County will be strutting in after a victory while Andrews will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, Swain County took their contest with ease, bagging a 76-46 win over Rosman. The Maroon Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Andrews came up short against Murphy on Friday, falling 73-52.

Swain County now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Andrews, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Swain County was dealt a bruising 77-45 loss at the hands of Andrews when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Thankfully for the Maroon Devils, Ty Clark (who dropped a double-double with 22 points and 12 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
