Basketball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 93-58 loss at the hands of the Cadott Hornets. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Beavers who fell 61-58 when the teams previously met back in February of 2023.

Augusta's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cadott, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Augusta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-52 victory against Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran on the 17th. As for Cadott, they will square off against Fall Creek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
