Volleyball Recap: Sumiton Christian Comes Up Short

Sumiton Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McAdory Yellowjackets. The Eagles were not able to make up for their loss to the Yellowjackets from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Sumiton Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for McAdory, they moved to 6-8 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak.

Coincidentally, Sumiton Christian and McAdory will both be playing Altamont the next time they take the court. The Yellowjackets will host the Knights at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
