Basketball Recap: Greenwood Christian Academy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Speedway

There's no place like home for Greenwood Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 victory over the Speedway Sparkplugs on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Sparkplugs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Despite the defeat, Speedway had strong showings from Drew Matelic, who posted 12 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, and Kendrick Kiser, who went 5-for-8 en route to 10 points. Matelic has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Craig, who had four points and six boards.
