Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Lutheran won the last time they faced Griggsville-Perry and things went their way on Thursday too. The Crusaders came out on top against the Tornadoes by a score of 2-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lutheran took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-12.

Lutheran's win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6. As for Griggsville-Perry, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-7.

Coming up, Lutheran will head out to take on Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Griggsville-Perry, they will host Illinois School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
