There's no place like home for Omaha South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Lincoln High Links 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Packers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Caleb Williams made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one double. Omaha South is 5-1 when Williams posts three or more RBI, but 7-9 otherwise.
