Baseball Recap: Rancho Cotate Gets the Win

The third road contest was the charm for Rancho Cotate, as they earned their first road win of the season. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the San Rafael Bulldogs on Saturday.

Stephen Scott was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Olvera, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Rancho Cotate's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for San Rafael, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Cougars take on the Tigers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for San Rafael, they will face off against Branson at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give San Rafael their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
