Safford is 7-1-1 against Coolidge since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Meanwhile, Coolidge came up short against Seton Catholic on Thursday, falling 12-3. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coolidge saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Carreon, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Safford's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Coolidge, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
