Softball Recap: Canandaigua Academy Comes Up Short

Canandaigua Academy fell victim to Eastridge and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 12-0. The Braves were not able to make up for their loss to the Lancers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Canandaigua Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aubrey Colf, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Canandaigua Academy dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Eastridge, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Canandaigua Academy will face off against rival Our Lady of Mercy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Eastridge is set to square off against their familiar foe Honeoye Falls-Lima at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
