There's no place like home for Boyd County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Greenup County Musketeers 49-7 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Boyd County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.5 points on average over those games. As for Greenup County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boyd County will welcome Blazer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Tomcats have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. As for Greenup County, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Johnson Central at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
