Soccer Recap: Cameron Falls to Chillicothe in First Game of Season

Cameron unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chillicothe Hornets on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Cameron of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Steven Martinez and Pablo Rosado scored both of Cameron's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Cameron has already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against Pleasant Hill on the 9th. As for Chillicothe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, an 8-0 defeat against Marshall on the 4th.
