Volleyball Game Preview: Animo Watts Warriors vs. Animo South Los Angeles Panthers

The Animo Watts Warriors will face off against the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Animo Watts will be strutting in after a victory while Animo South Los Angeles will be coming in after a loss.

Animo South Los Angeles will be up against a hot Animo Watts team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Animo Watts was the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Magnolia Science Academy Carson on Monday.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-17, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Animo South Los Angeles came up short against Rancho Dominguez on Monday and fell 3-1. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lobos 25-20 in the first set.

Animo South Los Angeles started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 27-25, 25-14, 25-17.

Animo Watts' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.
