Football Preview: East Webster Wolverines vs. Aberdeen Bulldogs        
        
		
             The East Webster Wolverines will take on the Aberdeen Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The timing is sure in East Webster's favor as the  team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Aberdeen has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road also dating back to last season.
 Last Friday, East Webster was fully in charge, breezing past Hamilton 48-16 at home. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won five matches by 29  points or more  so far this season.
 East Webster had a senior duo take command as  Dee Bingham rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns and  Jer'Kel Ivy picked up 142 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 79 yards.  Cooper Stidham was another key player, throwing for 210 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes.
 Meanwhile, Aberdeen lost to Choctaw County at home  by a   56-38 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings  (they are ranked 165th, while the Chargers are ranked 27th).
 East Webster's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Aberdeen, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
 Everything came up roses for East Webster against Aberdeen in their previous meeting  back in October of 2023, as the  squad secured  a  42-12 victory. Does  East Webster have another victory up their sleeve, or will Aberdeen turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
