Everett had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt North Star on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cougars an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Warriors have won five matchups by more than ten runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Everett's record is now 9-1. As for North Star, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Everett and North Star should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Warriors (ranked 95th) will meet Southern Fulton (ranked 456th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, North Star will challenge Ferndale at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (236 vs. 563).
