North Central is 8-2 against Gorham Fayette since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The North Central Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Gorham Fayette Eagles at 7:00 p.m. North Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, North Central turned things around against Holgate on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-30 victory over the Tigers. That looming 63-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.

Meanwhile, Gorham Fayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 54-34 to Swanton. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 825th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 394th).

Gorham Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for North Central, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-10.

North Central strolled past Gorham Fayette when the teams last played on January 7th by a score of 59-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
