Softball Recap: Hillsboro Takes a Loss

If Hillsboro was feeling good fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Hunters Lane on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Burros wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They have struggled against the Ravens recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cane Ridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillsboro will welcome Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cane Ridge, they will host Hunters Lane at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Ravens are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
