Basketball Recap: St. Louis Park Takes a Loss

St. Louis Park lost against Orono back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Louis Park Orioles fell to the Orono Spartans 102-98. While losing is never fun, the Orioles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Spartans are ranked eighth).

St. Louis Park's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Orono, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

St. Louis Park will host Benilde-St. Margaret's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Orono, they are taking a road trip to face off against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
