Carver A&T won the last time they faced Overlea and things went their way on Friday too. The Carver A&T Wildcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Overlea Falcons 49-21. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Carver A&T's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Elisah Guity led the charge by putting up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Carrington, who posted 11 points.

Carver A&T's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-3. As for Overlea, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver A&T will host Sparrows Point at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Overlea, they will face off against Loch Raven at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
