Baseball Recap: Mission Takes a Loss

Mission lost against Lowell on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears lost 11-1 to the Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly ten runs.

Noe Zuleta was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Mission has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Lowell, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mission will head out to square off against Priory at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Lowell, they will venture away from home to face off against San Mateo at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
