Basketball Game Preview: Water Canyon Wildcats vs. Enterprise Wolves

Water Canyon is 0-4 against Enterprise since December of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Water Canyon Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Enterprise Wolves at 6:00 p.m. Enterprise took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Water Canyon, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Water Canyon challenged Pinnacle on Friday. Water Canyon walked away with a 50-38 win over Pinnacle. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Dynonte Blackmore was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds. Daniel Cox was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals.

Meanwhile, Enterprise played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Richfield, falling 65-39. The Wolves were down 52-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Enterprise now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Water Canyon, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Water Canyon was taken down by Enterprise 80-44 in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Enterprise's Treyson Whitman, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 16 points, to go along with six boards and four steals. Now that Water Canyon knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
