Baseball Recap: Brentwood School Comes Up Short

Brentwood School managed to slip by Viewpoint the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles lost 9-2 to the Patriots on Tuesday. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Patriots earlier this season, when they won 1-0.

Brentwood School saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Weinbach, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Weinbach's first of the season. Dean Hoshide was another, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Brentwood School's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Viewpoint, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

While Brentwood School had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
