Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Win Is Circle's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Circle won the last time they faced El Dorado and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Thunderbirds came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0.

Circle easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-20.

Lauren Swilley paced Circle's offense, picking up ten kills. Swilley got some help from Cate Rogers and her 13 assists. Emmerson Haskins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Circle is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for El Dorado, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-14-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Circle will face off against Douglass at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for El Dorado, they will challenge Arkansas City on Saturday.
