Recap: Grove City Christian Eagles vs. Berne Union Rockets
In what's become a running theme this season, the Grove City Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-38 win over Berne Union on the road. The win was familiar territory for Grove City Christian who now have six in a row.
Grove City Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Seth Vaughn, who scored 21 points. Vaughn has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Trenton Timlin, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds.
Grove City Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Berne Union, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-13.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Millersport the next time they take the court. Grove City Christian will head out to face Millersport at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Berne Union will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
