Bolivar is a perfect 4-0 against West Plains since September of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Liberators will venture away from home to challenge the Zizzers at 6:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Bolivar is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Logan-Rogersville just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Bolivar couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for West Plains' offense. They lost 8-0 to Springfield Catholic on Thursday. West Plains have struggled against Springfield Catholic recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

West Plains' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Bolivar, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 11-4.

Bolivar was able to grind out a solid win over West Plains in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Liberators since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
