St. Joseph extended their postseason success on Friday against Canton Academy. They walked away with a 22-14 win over the Canton Academy Panthers. The Fighting Irish have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Leading St. Joseph to victory were Javeon Byars and Victor Baker. Byars rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while Baker threw for 160 yards on 11 of 25 attempts.

St. Joseph will square off against Kirk Academy on Friday. Kirk Academy is coming into the matchup with five straight wins on the road, so St. Joseph will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. Canton Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
